My husband and I have three children, ages ten, five, and eight months!  Two girls and a boy!  Our oldest girl is in elementary school, our younger girl is in preschool.  As most parents know, funds are tight with them all and an old house.   My husband works two jobs and I am a stay-at-home mom.
Our oldest danced, played sports, and the like.  Then we signed her up for riding lessons!  A little over a year later, she was state Leadline Champion and we had bought a horse.  A beautiful Arabian mare she showed all last summer.  With a horse comes various bills in addition to her lessons.  She gave up her other activities to sink that money into her riding lessons and the horse.  She works at the stable to offset costs as well.  But there are still costs to cover.  Such as her showing this summer.
Our younger daughter dances and plays sports.  She began riding over the winter and loves it as much as her sister.  At five, she is too young to work at the barn so we have to absorb the costs of her riding.  She won't be showing until next year but she still needs lessons.
Our youngest has a while before he has activities but my husband and I were brainstorming how we could make more money so the kids could participate in all their activities without bankrupting us.  What could we do?  I decided to start a home business or two to see if I could make a go of it all.
Time will tell but that explains this site in a nutshell!
